An Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) is a fully secured and controlled environment where signals from connected alarm systems are received and handled. Our Monitoring Center professionals specialise in receiving and managing alarm signals. Most importantly, every incoming alarm alert is verified correctly and efficiently, following strict security protocols. Our Monitoring Center processes a large number of alerts every day and remains active 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with an average response time of just 29 seconds.

Alarm
When the alarm is triggered because one of the components detects motion or smoke, live footage from the image detectors or video detectors is immediately available to the Monitoring Center, enabling our operators to respond quickly and accurately.

Alert
Our Monitoring Center is notified immediately, and our trained operators review the footage to verify whether it is an emergency. Using the control panel, the operator can communicate directly with people on site and take immediate action.

Action
In the event of a burglary, fire or medical emergency, the alarm operator notifies the police via Police Live View or contacts the fire brigade. In many cases, Verisure also dispatches a security guard to the location to carry out an inspection, enabling a rapid and effective response.

How does the Verisure Monitoring Center work?
Various signals (SOS alerts, burglary alarms, accidents and more) are verified by a specialised Monitoring Center operator using multiple protocols. These include calling the customer or trusted contacts, active audio monitoring via the control panel, and viewing footage captured by the security products. Once the situation has been analysed, the operator notifies the police or emergency services when required. In the case of a confirmed burglary, a security guard is often dispatched to the premises at no additional cost to our customers.
