Discover if your door is compatible with Verisure LockGuard:

These steps are very relevant to ensure the perfect fit of the LockGuard and the new high-security cylinder at your door.

Step 1: check shape

Does the cylinder in your door have the same shape as the one on the picture (Euro Cylinder)?

Step 2: check distance

Is the cylinder at least 3cm away from the door frame?
Note: this condition is only necessary for doors that open outwards.

Step 3: check middle screw

Does your door have a middle screw like the one of the picture?

Extra questions to ensure full compatibility:

This information is very relevant for our technicians.

Do you have to make force (push or pull the door) when you lock or unlock the door?
Tip: can you easily open it with your thumb and index fingers?

Does the door handle hit the wall when the door is opened?

Do you see any damages in the middle screw?

Visible Euro Cylinder

Doors where the Euro cylinder (seen above) is visible from the outside and inside.

Shielded Euro Cylinder

A shield protects the Euro cylinder so it is not visible from the outside of the door.

Blocked Euro Cylinder

If when removing the middle screw, the cylinder is still blocked.

Non-compatible

In these doors we won't be able to install the LockGuard.

Other cases

Lift-up handle door

In this type of door, the Lockguard can open the door automatically. For the locking of the door, the user first needs to lift up the handle before actioning the Lockguard.

Shielded Euro Cylinder

A shield protects the Euro cylinder so it is not visible from the outside of the door.

Blocked Euro Cylinder

If when removing the middle screw, the cylinder is still blocked.
